I was one of the first 5 Bitcoin developers in 2010. My work focused on privacy and I created the first codes for coinjoin and stealth. I've worked 20 years on free software like Linux cos I'm ideological about freedom.
I also created the fastest implementation of Bitcoin, libbitcoin, which is still the fastest. I founded the first UK Bitcoin exchange. I made the first conferences in 2011 and 2012. I started the BIP process and am the author of BIP 0001.
I founded the first privacy wallet for Bitcoin called DarkWallet alongside Cody Wilson, inventor of the 3D printed gun, and Vitalik Buterin, inventor of Ethereum. Our team implemented the first versions of coinjoin and stealth addresses. Many of the Ethereum cofounders met through this project and were heavily influenced early on by it.
For a decade I also did anarchist activism, founding hacklabs and social centers in squatted buildings throughout europe. I was involved in the CIC, an autonomous network of 10,000 cooperatives in Catalonia, and its research lab Calafou.
In 2015, I joined the YPG internationalists and fought ISIS on the frontline. Later I worked for the economics committee of north syria, helping establish a recycling plant, surveying the general economy and setup the technical curriculum. In total I was nearly 4 years involved in the syrian civil war.
I also founded AssangeDAO which raised $55m for Julian Assange's freedom, one of the largest DAO raises in history.
My early work is cited as the direct inspiration behind Ethereum. Vitalik and Mihai Alisie were both working on our project before leaving to create Ethereum. Many of the other cofounders including Gav Wood (the lead dev) met through me.
Today I work on DarkFi which is a layer-1 blockchain for anonymous applications. We have created the world's only and first fully anonymous DAO, world's most private p2p chat, anonymous DEX, payments and more.
I am a specialist in anonymous cryptography and mathematics with an interest in homology, algebra, geometry, with a background in 3D graphic design and animation.
Apologies to brag, its not in my nature but the tech world is ruthless. I only do this so that our mission may succeed.
